This seminar is designed to meet women’s specific needs regarding personal safety and self-defense in the streets, at work or at home.

Our goal is to empower women through knowledge and understanding of what goes on emotionally, physiologically and psychologically during a confrontation.

We focus on awareness, avoidance, verbal de-escalation, fear management, mindset, and simple, intuitive tactics.

Here is a sample of the topics that we’ll address during the course:

What is violence? – The ‘Ambush’ Principle. – Who is our opponent? – Process predator vs. Resource predator – Awareness Vs. Paranoia – Intuition & Instinct – The interview process – Negotiating Postures – Verbal de-escalation techniques – Psychological vs. Biological fear – Emotional Triggers – Demystification of the street assault – CWCT: Closest Weapon, Closest Target. – Train off balance and through mistakes – Self defense tools-Improvised weapons – Force on Force Scenarios with trained role-players.
